Feline Side

Cats have been dumped off 8 Mile Road in Stockton for years! To date, we have fixed over 50 cats at this colony. We continue our efforts by helping to trap, neuter, and return these cats. Additionally, we work with a few fosters to help rehabilitate any cats that are deemed adoptable from this colony.

Canine Side

In 2021, EOE launched a unique program. We started matching people in the community who are interested in dog training with some of our dogs in our rescue. EOE provides intensive training under one of our senior trainers and all necessary equipment.

EOE is operated by volunteers. We have no paid staff. Phone calls are returned after 5 PM, if a message is left. For quicker turnaround, leave a text message. We are committed to finding the best home for each animal in our rescue, so our screening process is extensive. Our experience has shown that this is the best process for everyone involved. We reserve the right to reject any application, for any reason. Our ability to perform our life saving efforts is dependent on our funding and human resources.
